Contemporary Mythology Through Tarot

Arcana of Becoming is an ongoing photographic project that reimagines the Major Arcana as a contemporary visual mythology exploring transformation, identity, memory, and self-creation. Through staged photography, digital compositing, and symbolic narrative, the series examines how individuals construct meaning through personal and collective mythologies.

Drawing upon tarot archetypes, ritual symbolism, and contemporary queer experience, these works transform divination into a visual language of becoming. Rather than illustrating traditional tarot, the series reinterprets archetypal figures as sites of change, resilience, desire, and personal transformation.
